Postdoctoral Position in RNA Biology: Human Technopole is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate to join a collaborative research project between the Soskic and Legnini groups. The successful candidate will conduct research in RNA biology in B cells with a focus on posttranscriptional mechanisms controlling B cell differentiation, immune-activation-induced control of RNA splicing, and stability and degradation of antibody RNAs.
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher – RNA Biology in B Cells
Research Area : RNA Biology in B Cells
PhD in genomics, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or other relevant disciplines (or PhD to be awarded by January 2025)
Fluency in English
Preferential requirements:
Experience and interest in B cell biology
Broad technical and scientific understanding of genomics and molecular biology
Experience and interest in RNA splicing and metabolism
Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis approaches for RNA or protein data
Knowledge of transcriptomic technologies (bulk and single-cell)
Experience with confocal microscopy
Independence and flexibility in managing projects and generating new ideas
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Designing, performing, and analyzing genomic experiments (e.g., scRNA-seq, CLIP-seq, FLAM-seq) related to B cell biology and antibody production
Developing innovative approaches to investigate gene expression regulation in B cells
Generating and recording data, protocols, and/or codes for publication
Publishing reproducible research
Interacting and supporting other group members
Sharing and discussing research results with collaborators
Presenting scientific results in international meetings
