**For our Research Department in Milan, Italy we are currently recruiting a full-time**:
**Research Analyst**
**Is this the role for you?
**
This position is critical for supporting business growth and editorial strategic decisions for the various brands in Italy.
It involves analyzing the state of the brand, audience performance, linear forecast, context and competition analysis, as well as linear and non-linear performance tracking.
**What will you be doing?
**
The primary objective is to support revenue growth, both in terms of affiliate and advertising, by collaborating with strategy and Ad Sales teams to provide forecasts and analysis for Sky and Sky media.
The role is also responsible for being the point of contact for all internal partners, including brand, comms & PR, and marketing teams, and provides data and insights to support business growth in the region.
As Research Analyst you will be in charge of providing support for our international brands across multiple platforms, by providing data, analysis, and insights to help partners understand performance in order to make informed, data-led decisions.
The role involves regular and ad-hoc tasks, as well as interpreting data to identify performance trends, anticipate issues, and seek opportunities.
It involves a local focus with an international approach, requiring strong and constant collaboration with peers in other territories.
While the primary focus is on the Italian market, the Analyst will collaborate with regional and international teams, reporting to the Regional Lead.
The role requires the ability to maintain strong and relevant conversations with internal stakeholders to ensure full consistency with needs and expectations.
**What are we looking for?
**
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Around 2 years of previous experience in providing research analytics and data to stakeholders
- Strong data-driven background
- Knowledge and understanding of linear and non-linear metrics and the wider broadcast/entertainment industry (Italian market is the focus)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V Lookup, etc.
)
- Hands-on technical skills, ideally including industry specific tools (a previous experience with Techedge is strongly appreciated)
- Passion for working in the media and entertainment industry
- Curious, proactive and collaborative spirit
