Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than  75 000  people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact..Job Title: Fleet Support Centre EngineerPurpose of the Job:To design maintenance diagnostics for the assigned projectTo optimize corrective maintenance operation by development of standard internal procedure for troubleshooting.Review all equipment failures, downtime reports and equipment histories to uncover reoccurring maintenance problems. As appropriate he will utilize continuous improvement tools to identify root cause and work to implement a solution helping the RG team.Take advantage of the fault three and hazard analysys to identifie equipment or subsystem where CBM approach will ensure major returns.To take part in the train health monitoring process by defining rules for the diagnosis.To provide remote support for critical trouble shooting activities.Organisational Reporting:Is part of the Service Engineering OrganizationHierarchical Reporting: Fleet support centre managerNetwork & Links: Internal :Data scientistDepot managersFleet managersControl room data analystResponsabilities :Defines standard rules to analyse train diagnostic dataDefines standard operation sheet for troubleshootingDesign diagnostic algorithmsAnalyses feedback from the depotsParticipates in critical task-force dedicated to troubleshooting when neededEducational Requirements:Graduated in electronics or electro-technical engineeringTechnical Knowledge / ExperienceExperience in TCMS development or validation or commissioningExperience at system level in Railway industries or big industrial plant (Power, naval etc.)Behavioural and Technical Skills / CompetenciesAnalytical and proactiveData driven (makes objective decisions based on data/ facts and speaks with data)Focused on targetsTeamworkingSense of urgency and respect of company's needsInformatics tools knowledge and use:Matlab/SimulinkSAPOfficeBasic knowledge of English languageJob Location / Mobility RequirementsThe job will be based in Sesto San Giovanni (MI)An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
