INTRODUCTIONJOB PURPOSEThe Warehouse and Transport Coordinator is responsible for managing the Transport Coordinator that coordinates the Burberry Manufacturing Supply Chain for the movement and delivery of both raw materials and finished goods with internal shuttles and external dispatchers and optimizes their operations in order to provide a more efficient service in terms of cost and delivery times. The role is also responsible for coordinating the external Logistic provider that manages the handling activities of the Finished Good Consolidation Center of Burberry Leather Goods Dep. Finally, in this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the Sample Finished Good warehouse for the inbound and outbound activities and invoice generation related to the selling of the finished good to the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIESTRANSPORT Coordinate internal and external transportation (shuttles, freight forwarders)Ensure compliance with transport procedures and manage carrier onboardingOptimize transportation costs and lead timesSupport invoice verification and purchase order generationCollaborate with Trade Compliance for non-EU transportMonitor cost trends and resolve transport issuesWAREHOUSE Support external logistics provider and monitor KPI performanceCoordinate internal warehouse activities for prototypes, samples, and finished goodsControl warehouse movements and stock levels in ERP and WMS systemsManage barcode stamping for productionOrganize annual and cycle stock countsManage the return of finished goods after salePERSONAL PROFILEExperience in logistics transport and warehouse managementIT skills in Excel, ERP, and WMS systems. Preferable previous experience in using Stealth 3000 and Logimoda WMSAbility to assess, prioritize, and manage the Team workloadAbility to work on strict deadlinesExcellent planning and organization skillsExcellent ability in team-buildingAbility to have a global vision of assigned activitiesMEASURES OF SUCCESSFOOTERBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
