Our comprehensive services include proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing, and motion control; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to support our customers with current and future installed tools at the customer site.
We will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands-on competence and a desire to succeed.YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Successful applicants will be formally trained at one of our award-winning training centers.Domestic and international travel for initial training is required.Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, fixing, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.Be the face of our company, ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment.Coordinates actions with customers to minimize downtime.Provides assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Certified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or ~3 years industry working experience.
Technical military occupational specialties and training may be considered.Ability to understand and take on problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems to address on-site customer problems.Experience working on electronic systems within semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry is a plus.Outstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven track record of engaging empathetically with customers, ensuring a positive experience, while fostering a collaborative environment to address their needs and concerns.Driven to be hands-on and passionate about learning new things.Proactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration and addresses customer requirements effectively.Fluent in English and Italian is a must.Full driver's license.WHAT WE OFFER:Dynamic opportunity and growth potential in the Semiconductor Industry.A competitive, family-friendly total rewards package.Variable compensation components, e.g.
