HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR Technology strategy and Roadmap that enables efficient and effective HR business processes and activities while ensuring compliance with HR Policies and legislative requirements.
Our technology strategy priorities are to create value for the Organization through provision of trusted workforce data and analytics for smarter people management decisions, reduced administrative burden for our employees through automation and self-services, and making life at work better through awesome employee experience.
WFP is seeking an experienced training manager for its HCM project.
This person will plan, prepare and deliver standard and advanced training to WFP employees to accompany the implementation of Workday HCM.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The HCM Project Training Manager will report directly to the WFP HCM Project Change Management Lead and will work in close coordination with the HCM Project Manager and Project Workstream Leads.
1.
Conduct a training needs assessment (TNA) for WFP's Workday HCM implementation, identifying trainee/learning groups and their specific requirements in terms of courses, materials, facilities and support.
2.
On the strength of the TNA, prepare a training strategy and plan for the first phase of the HCM rollout.
3.
Implement the strategy and plan, designing standard and advanced training for the different audiences and preparing and scheduling the full catalogue of courses and learning.
4.
Develop training materials and courses, either building on existing Workday HCM courses and materials, or creating ad hoc courses and materials, as necessary.
5.
Prepare and deliver training of trainers (ToT) for courses requiring instructors and provide basic coaching in customer relations and support techniques.
6.
Manage and deliver training sessions, remotely and in person, as circumstances require.
7.
Other related tasks, as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
**Education**: University degree in Education, Human Resources or related field of study.
**Experience**: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Human Resources information systems training, of which at least 3 must be in Workday HCM or another major ERP system.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a training manager, ideally in Workday HCM implementations.
**Knowledge & Skills**: Excellent knowledge of HR Business processes.
Deep knowledge of Workday HCM is desirable.
Proven experience in multiple Workday HCM or ERP HR implementation cycles, ideally in United Nations or governmental bodies.
Proven experience in preparing, managing and delivering training strategies for Workday or ERP HR implementation projects, ideally in UN or governmental bodies.
Proven experience training business stakeholders in Workday HCM core functionalities desirable.
Excellent and demonstrated communication skills.
Excellent and demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a team.
**Languages**: Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP's working languages).
**Deadline**: June 30th
No appointment under any kind of contract will be offered to members of the UN Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ), International Civil Service Commission (ICSC), FAO Finance Committee, WFP External Auditor, WFP Audit Committee, Joint Inspection Unit (JIU) and other similar bodies within the United Nations system with oversight responsibilities over WFP, both during their service and within three years of ceasing that service.
