About this opportunityJob scope
Within the company policies, procedures, and local work instructions, the jobholder will be responsible for co-ordinating, monitoring, and controlling all production scheduling activities at Nocera factory, balancing production capacities and inventory levels with customer demands and service expectations.
Plant Production planning in accordance with the Supply Chain Director in order to minimize stock level and production costDefinition of the weekly shift pattern in collaboration with Plant manager and Supply chain managerWork orders management: WO raising, schedulingAssure the Raw metal supply for respecting the weekly production planSupport inventory managementDaily report on production and analyses of the variation compared to STD: interface with Plant Manager and ProductionOrganization of warehousing and transport to the customerSupport in standing data management: item definition, BOM, RoutingKey result areas
The job holder will be responsible for effective short-term production scheduling according to Central Planning direction and customer requirements; he will be in charge of the co-ordination and day-to-day communication of all site scheduling and finished stock control activities; He will engender pro-active relationships within Plant functions at European and sister-site level where applicable.
Job requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics preferably gained within the manufacturing sector
• Knowledge of ERP systems and methodologies in data analysis (knowledge of JDE or equivalent would be advantageous)
• Fluent in Italian and English; French would be useful to facilitate working in an international environment.
