About this opportunity

Job scope
Within the company policies, procedures, and local work instructions, the jobholder will be responsible for co-ordinating, monitoring, and controlling all production scheduling activities at Nocera factory, balancing production capacities and inventory levels with customer demands and service expectations.

  • Plant Production planning in accordance with the Supply Chain Director in order to minimize stock level and production cost
  • Definition of the weekly shift pattern in collaboration with Plant manager and Supply chain manager
  • Work orders management: WO raising, scheduling
  • Assure the Raw metal supply for respecting the weekly production plan
  • Support inventory management
  • Daily report on production and analyses of the variation compared to STD: interface with Plant Manager and Production
  • Organization of warehousing and transport to the customer
  • Support in standing data management: item definition, BOM, Routing

Key result areas
The job holder will be responsible for effective short-term production scheduling according to Central Planning direction and customer requirements; he will be in charge of the co-ordination and day-to-day communication of all site scheduling and finished stock control activities; He will engender pro-active relationships within Plant functions at European and sister-site level where applicable.

Job requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in logistics preferably gained within the manufacturing sector
• Knowledge of ERP systems and methodologies in data analysis (knowledge of JDE or equivalent would be advantageous)
• Fluent in Italian and English; French would be useful to facilitate working in an international environment.
