We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic R&D Junior Project Manager with the passion to support our vision and values and to help change the future of aviation by playing over time a key role in the development of our Products and Solutions.
We are now offering a fascinating position in our HQ in Bologna, Italy.
The R&D Junior Project Manager, part of our D team, will work closely with the sales team, the R&D team and all other units to create the best-in-class products and solutions that contribute to our vision to be the leading innovator in airfield solutions helping airports become truly efficient, safe and sustainable.
At the start he will be supported to grow in this role so that he can learn to fully manage RD&E projects himself.
**Responsibilities**
- Determine and define project scope and objectives under the guidance of the R&D Manager
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
Track project costs to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Drive the execution of project activities (supported by the R&D Manager at first) and deliverables and handle any issue that arises
- Monitor progress, provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders, measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks, communicating expected deliverables, and overseeing project procurement management together with Purchasing
- Eliminate blockers, identify project risks and areas that need improvement, and act to advance them with the relevant stakeholders
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering/ engineering/ business, or a related field
- Working experience of 3-5 years as a junior project manager
- Productive and highly motivated, "can do" approach
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
- Related experience in R&D, new products development
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools (MS Project), methodologies, and best practices

- Your communication skills allow you to understand others easily and impart your ideas in a clear and concise manner.
