Production Manager Job Description Packly is a dynamic, fast-paced and ever-changing environment; as a Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the packaging production process. This includes managing and leading a team of team leaders and workers, monitoring production schedules, ensuring product quality and efficiency, and pursuing continuous improvement to optimize the entire production processes.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement production plans, schedules and budget to meet production targets; Oversee production progress, identify and resolve production issues and provide regular reports to the Board; Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as sales, maintenance, procurement, HR and quality assurance to ensure smooth production operations; Ensure that the production processes comply with quality standards and regulations and implement corrective actions as needed; Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements and implement best practices to optimize production operations; Lead analysis to solve production issues in order to minimize downtime; Establish and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork, accountability and employee engagement; Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals and provide training and development opportunities for team members; Coordinate with the logistics and shipping department to ensure timely shipment of finished goods. Required Skills and Qualifications: Master's Degree in Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering; Proven experience in production management, with a digital approach, preferably in a manufacturing environment (at least 3 years); Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles and continuous improvement methodologies; Strong problem-solving and decision-making mindset, with a focus on delivering results and improving efficiency; Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees; Excellent communication skills (both in Italian and English) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Procurement, Finance, Quality, HR, Maintenance, and Logistics.
