Movimenti Production is seeking an experienced Executive Producer to join our team in Milan.

Movimenti Production, established in 2004 by Giorgio Scorza and Davide Rosio, is dedicated to promoting the finest Italian animation globally. With a focus on producing compelling titles for kids, families, and young adults, Movimenti has become a leading Animation Production Company in Italy. In 2019, Movimenti expanded its horizons with the launch of DogHead Animation, further solidifying its position in the industry. With studios in Milan, Florence, Pisa, and Bari, and a network of approximately 400 professionals, Movimenti Production is recognized for its commitment to excellence in animation. Since September 2022, Movimenti has joined forces with Banijay, the renowned independent content producer and distributor, boasting a vast catalog of over 130,000 hours of original programming and a presence in 23 territories.
The role:
As an Executive Producer, you will play a crucial role in steering our animation projects to completion, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Reporting directly to the Movimenti Chief Operating Officer, you will collaborate closely with Production Managers, overseeing every aspect of project delivery. Simultaneously, you will engage with the Executive Creative Producer to uphold the artistic vision. Additionally, your responsibilities will extend to liaising with Co-Producers and Commissioning partners, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained, projects are delivered on time, and within budget. This is a full-time position based in the Milan office, hybrid working mode is considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Lead and supervise animation projects from budgeting and planning to completion. Ensure alignment with artistic vision, quality standards, and project timelines.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
Collaboration: Work closely with Production Managers to coordinate and manage project deliverables. Collaborate with the Executive Creative Producer to maintain artistic integrity.
Stakeholder Management: Interface with Co-Producers and Commissioning partners to guarantee project success. Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Uphold and enforce high-quality standards for all animation projects. Implement processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of animation professionals. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience of +2 years in the role, any present or previous involvement in the animation industry will be considered a plus.
In-depth knowledge of animation production processes.
Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
Passion for animation
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of international animation distribution and market trends.
Proficiency in Italian and English, with additional languages being a plus.
Flexibility to travel for international events and client meetings.
