Position SummaryPrototype Quality Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and collecting all quality documentation related to incoming components, verifying compliance to drawing and company standards, and interacting with suppliers and chief engineers to approve deviations to the specifications. He will also be responsible for guaranteeing the compliance of the prototypes delivered to customers and registering all technical and quality documentation according to Dana's quality system and IATF automotive standards.
Main ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track quality documentation for incoming components.Verify compliance of components to drawings and company standards.Interact with suppliers and chief engineers regarding specifications deviations.Ensure compliance of prototypes delivered to customers.Register all technical and quality documentation according to Dana's quality system.Job RequirementsEducation: Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Aerospace
Professional Background: Strong technical background with at least 5 years of experience in design and development of automotive powertrains.
Hard SkillsStrong technical mechanical drawing skills.Knowledge of production processes of main transmission components.Knowledge of automotive quality standards, procedures, and processes according to IATF standards.Considered as a plusKnowledge of mechatronic systems, electric, and electronic components.
Soft SkillsLeadership skills, effective communication, teamwork, agile approach and methodology, dependability, adaptability, conflict resolution, flexibility, problem-solving, self-development.
