- Assists Inventory Manager in inventory optimization by driving best practice in material handling and reporting to improve on time delivery (OTD), inventory turns, quality, and net working capital (NWC) meet or exceed BU and enterprise level KPIs
- Acts as leader for the global footprint standard work and processes, working with the businesses to ensure process integrity and delivery of footprint savings per business AOP
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
- _Improve Net Working Capital (NWC) through inventory optimization: _
- Collaborate with the Inventory Manager, businesses, and local operations teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for NWC improvements related to inventory management; and
- Collaborates with operations, materials and production planning community across enterprise to develop and install materials handling best practice
- Develop and maintain standard work documentation to support materials handling initiatives.
- _Improve Inventory Reporting_: Assist inventory manager in improving inventory reporting for global enterprise via collaboration with the business units and stakeholders
- _Footprint_: Act as global process lead for footprint consolidation
- Work with businesses to ensure healthy project funnels and project activity to deliver footprint savings per AOP
- Identify and advocate cross-P&L footprint consolidation opportunities to drive enterprise productivity
- Manage global footprint IDM and monthly sales office/service center/distribution center lease renewal meetings
- _Execute projects on time/in budget: _
- Develop, grow and maintain collaborative relationships at all levels with key stakeholders;
- Improve NWC through inventory management efforts, training, coaching and support to achieve KPIs; and
- Manage the materials handling initiatives from the scheduling through reporting
- _Drive Continuous Improvement:_ Continuously seek input from key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
- _Budget: _Track and comply with departmental budgets to meet spending limits while meeting or exceeding AOP Targets

**This position**:
- No direct reports
- Works with EMEAI and APAC operations, procurement, and commercial to implement robust processes to drive inventory optimization
- Shares responsibility for ~$1.0B in inventory value and reduction targets with Inventory Manager
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Training Required**:
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
**Experience Required**:
- 3-5 years in expanding roles
- SIOP, inventory management, inventory control, materials and/or production planning, capacity planning, demand management preferred, preferably in a global environment
- I2V/VAVE experience preferred
- 3+ years project management/software implementation preferred
- 3+ years' experience in production/manufacturing/logistics environment, practicing lean enterprise preferred
- Must have the ability to develop a rapport with and effectively collaborate with all levels of the enterprise; strong interpersonal communications; ability to overcome ambiguity and drive results
