**About the Role**

For our plant in Lucca (Porcari), we are looking for an Operations Leader. You will have 6 direct reports and related staff (totally about 40 people) and you will be responsible for the entire manufacturing setup (5M’s perspective in production and maintenance areas), reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Lucca’s site, part of Essity PLD, counts around 150 people with 2 Tissue Machines double width (including cogeneration unit), in addition to a converting department for folded products (Hankies and Napkins), the role is in the converting department. **What You Will Do**
- A ct as a Role Model for Safety: responsible for the development of the organizational capability to get the expected results and provide utmost leadership, direction setting, and coaching. Safety First
- You are the ultimate responsible for 5M’s (Men, Machines, Materials, Methods, Measures), in SQCDM perspective (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale)
- You deliver effective Continuous Improvement for both daily and long-term perspectives (through hi-class manufacturing methods like TPM, 5s, HMex tools & practices); this is to be also pursued through utmost effective networking & collaboration within the Company
- Responsible for the strategic development & deployment of the maintenance plan (including cost)
- Responsible for the contribution to draft & deploy the plant’s CBN, toward Business as well as Cultural ambitions
- Transform CBN into yearly plans, leading through “Envision, Energize, Enabling” principles (3 E’s) at every level of the organization; set NFKPI’s goals, acting until full achievement
- Ensure the department delivers required production in “Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale” perspectives (all factors to be fulfilled with no compromises)
- Accountable for the Department’s Operational Budget, as well as Identifying CAPEX needs to support mid-long term vision accomplishment
- Accountable for People Performance Management process as well as responsible for consequence management within your department
- Responsible for completing the start-up of the department, focusing on operational and technicians training plan, definition of the maintenance strategy

- You have an appropriate background in plant operations and a background in tissue converting may be considered a plus (despite not considered a “must”)
