OUR VISION FOR INTEGRATED DIAGNOSTICS SOLUTIONS AT BD

By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions.

Support may occasionally be requested for the remaining regions belonging to the central area (Lazio-Abruzzo-Marche)

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Being main manager (owner) of the relationship with entrusted customers and of which he knows the structure, organization, context, contacts, objectives and needs (customer intimacy).
- Using the appropriate communication and planning tools (e.g. SFDC and BDWoS) promote all IDS products/services/solutions based on the company strategy (e.g. road map), activity planning, assigned objectives (individual and team).
- Being co-manager, with the other members of the operating team, of all Clients present in the reference area;
- Contributing to the definition of the objectives (budget), to the planning of the demand (forecast), to the monitoring of the performance, to the implementation of the Road Map which require his involvement;
- Continuously supervising the evolution of the environment in the of them direct competence (technologies, procedures, standards, competitor activities, etc.) and intercepts emerging needs and trends (pay attention to weak signals).
- Participating in the organization of meetings with colleagues, agents and dealers to share the strategic guidelines of the quarter, check the progress of initiatives and projects in the area, share any critical issues
- Is constantly updated on ongoing purchasing procedures (e.g. tenders, RFQs) and supports the value proposition of IDS products and services with the main stakeholders. Furthermore, at each stage of the tender it guarantees:

- Identifying needs of the various interlocutors;
- Discussing with the Strategic Solution Center (SSC) for proposing complex solutions;
- Supporting, in compliance with current regulations, for the drafting of preliminary market consultations;
- Supporting to TME and the tender office for the preparation of documentation;
- Being present at the various stages of the tender by collecting all the information deemed vital (competing prices, award/exclusion criteria, final ranking) and handling all disputes that may be vital directly on site;
- Providing the training vital for the accurate use of the awarded BD products/solutions;
- Timely reporting of critical issues
- Proposing to the Regional Sales Manager the most effective commercial offer (project and price). Furthermore, in the case of offers for complex solutions, collaborating with the TME and the SSC and prepares/decodes the tender in order to produce the final offer using the dedicated tools (e.g. Mercury).
- When required, collaborates with Marketing, Operating Units and Strategic Centers for the implementation of projects of particular relevance to the business.
- Ensures timely problem solving and first level management of requests for technical assistance and complaints.
- Participate in local or national congresses where there are guests from your area.

**About you**:

- University Diploma and/or Degree in Economic or Scientific Disciplines.
- English Proficient.
- Have gained significant experience in the commercial field in biomedical or clinical/microbiological laboratory realities in public and private structures and in the management of complex tenders.
- Resident in Tuscany or Umbria.
- Knowledge of public and private tenders.
- Excel proficient.
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing mechanisms and logics in public and private hospital realities.
