Local Unit & Position Description:
In line with DNV’s position as a trusted voice to tackle global transformations, the DNV Supply Chain and Product Assurance division’s ambition is to shape the future of assurance through innovating, developing and growing assurance services in Digital, Supply Chain, Medical Technology & Healthcare, Product Assurance and Offshore Aquaculture.

Operating within this division, the Head of PR, Branding and Communications will be responsible for steering the PR and Comms team (currently two FTEs) by developing a comms strategy in collaboration with rest of GTM functions and roll out an innovative and creative internal and external communications strategy that makes a meaningful and measurable brand awareness impact, across a broad range of traditional and digital channels.

The role is a combination of communication, creativity and business acumen and we are looking for a forward-thinking leader with hands on ability to translate highly intellectual content into a voice that will gain respect, awareness and backing from customers and stakeholders. You will have responsibility for a small team of 3, therefore a “get things done” approach is certainly required in this dynamic and growth-oriented business area. Due to the “start-up” nature of the Supply Chain & Product Assurance division, it is essential to have operated within a fast-paced work environment. The individual should display Media savviness and be able to translate complex messages through appropriate channels.

The Head of PR, Branding and Communications will report to Go To Market function and will work to meet business requirements, goals, and KPIs. In addition, this individual will have the overall responsibility to develop world class communication to enable business transformation and sales growth. From a company perspective, you will be responsible for defining, leading, planning and executing the communication strategy, both internally and externally.

The Head of PR, Branding and Communications will be based in Europe.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Review and define, together with the leadership group (ELT) with input from G & I function the overall PR and comms strategy.
- Ensure high performance, development, motivation and best utilization of team resources and competencies through inspiration and motivation
- Maintain the business’ solid reputation to external stakeholders through PR, online communications and social media
- Create nodes for receiving/sharing info towards establishing thought leadership
- Periodically review progress with the Sales function and tweak strategy as necessary.
- Define, implement, maintain and regularly reassess the communications strategies, platforms and plans to ensure best in class activities for sharing information across Supply Chain & Product Assurance and impacting Sales pipeline positively.

**More Tasks May Include**
- Communicate and engage with both internal and external audiences to convey the Supply Chain & Product Assurance brand, vision and business priorities
- Responsible for the managing and delivery of the full-scale communications strategy in support of the Supply Chain & Product Assurance mission, goals and objectives which influences positive contributions to the business and its key stakeholders
- Ensure communication objectives and initiatives are well anchored and understood by the management team, and other relevant stakeholders
- Coaching and mentoring business leaders about how communication can enable better business results with the ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way.
- Lead and inspire the communications team in high performance, accountability and cross organisational working
- Ensure that the team effectively and proactively respond to daily competitive, industry and company activities.
- Work and align closely with marketing on initiatives that support lead generation
- Ensure that the global strategy is efficiently adapted to local contexts to suit the demands of our regional markets
- Co-ordinate with the regions to catalyse the production of local context to maximize impact with local target audiences
- Respond effectively and efficiently to media inquiries, in line with agreed media protocols with Group, to ensure a strong relationship is fostered with mediocrities.
- Pinpoint where external agencies are necessary to support PR and communications.
- Responsible for all communications budget management and ensure all spending achieves the best returns for business.
- Collaborate with other in-house teams such as marketing and design teams to ensure communications are consistent throughout all touchpoints.

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required

Master's degree preferred

Min 8 years of experience within Communications required
- Previous team leadership experience is a must.
- Experience with digital technologies such as, Blockchain, Non-fungible tokens and assur
