**SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER**
**LOCATION: ITALY, SESTO S. GIOVANNI (MI)**

**Purpose of the role**

Ensures appropriate parts scheduling, purchase parts deliveries and logistic flows in order to make material available when needed, and according to company cash objectives (Services Business).

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies
- Manage the physical flow whether internally managed or subcontracted, and ensure the compliance of those activities with AZDP standards (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan)
- Insure material availability through adequate planning strategies, procurement and physical flow management
- Optimize hard inventory
- Coordinate suppliers deliveries plan for her / his platform
- Manage her / his team: calculate workload, define priorities, implement development plans
- Manage the material work package providing QCD commitments
- Defines and deploys her / his continuous improvement roadmap according to APSYS standards
- Ensure integrity of data needed to run efficient MRP (material resource planning)
- Provide reporting to management for the various supply chain KPI
- Can be involved in front of customer for audits or action plans presentation and follow-up
- If relevant for her / his platform, coordinate Master Production and Repair Schedule definition and monitor schedule and shipments execution in order to achieve on time delivery targets and to ensure customer satisfaction

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Master Degree in Engineering/Economics or similar
- Minimum 5 years recognized experience in the Logistics and Supply Chain management fields preferably, within an international company and proven People Management skills
- Experience in: Supplier Relationships Management, Material needs scheduling and Logistic flows and warehouse management
- Working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP with special regards to modules used for management of the Supply Chain.
- Teamwork & Accountability: Delegates, provides encouragement and support to people in accepting responsibility with accountability
- Operational effectiveness: execute and delivers - Identifies the critical task & resources necessary to achieve the desired objectives, takes action to ensure execution, delivery and follow-up
- Winning & influencing: changes the opinion of others such as customers, colleagues, subordinates
- Approach discussions/negotiations with the objective of achieving a win-win outcome
- Ability to communicate to different levels
- Risk management: provides early warnings as soon as unforeseen problems arise, to ensure timely corrective action can be taken
- Communicating with transparency: delivers clear and synthetic messages
- Italian fluent, English professional use
