**Victor Insurance** is seeking for a graduate for the position **Employee Benefits (EH&B) Underwriter **inside the Operations team based in the **Milan** **office (Via Calabria 31).

By matching those willing to take risk with those who need coverage and through advanced technology and an innovative approach to matching risk, distribution and capital access, Victor provides enhanced products and services to partners and clients.

**What can you expect?**

To be a key member of the EH&B underwriting team responsible for new policies, portfolios and renewals, calculating insurance risk and matching solutions to intermediaries’ proposals together with or on behalf of our insurance carrier partners.

**The Graduate programm is structured in 6 months internship + 2/3 years of apprenticeship.**

**We will count on you to**
- Achieve insurance underwriting operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, completing audits; identifying, developing, and implementing system improvements;
- Assist in the management of broker facilities (checking / agreeing policy documentation, administration, tracking progression of policies, broker follow-up);
- Collaborate with different departments to assess the proper analysis of risk, claims coverage and to determine appropriate courses of action;
- Assist the Senior UW to negotiate terms and conditions with our carrier partners for our intermediary network and bind coverage and initiate the policy issuance process.

**What you need to have**:

- University degree in business, law or finance;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- At least 1 year of professional experience in the insurance industry (Accident & Health);
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Ability to work within a dynamic and challenging environment - handle multiple priorities - often under tight deadlines.
