**Business Insight Lead**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES**

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Patient and Customer Insight, as Business Insight Lead you have a key role providing with actionable strategic recommendations to influence sales and marketing strategy, derived from integrating insights from market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, forecasting, CRM data. The role performs analyses of sales and market data, with a higher level of expertise and utilizes complex statistical methods to draw conclusions.

In the role of Business Insight Lead you will plan and coordinate the response to the key strategic questions for the brand/therapeutic area of responsibility, by synergizing the skills and competencies of internal and external professionals in the fields of Market Research, Analytics, Forecasting, and Competitive Intelligence.

The role broadly includes the following key components:

- Provides strategic recommendations based on Business Intelligence insights and drives strategic decision-making through the provision, analysis and interpretation of information and metrics
- Tracks and analyses Brand/competitor performance and strategic drivers
- Determines appropriate data sources and proactively provides analysis to address business issues and opportunities as well as utilises the most appropriate primary research methodologies and secondary sources to meet objectives
- Undertakes the more complex and critical market research to support the strategic planning process on behalf of the brand team
- Manage all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Economic, Statistics or Scientific degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence in a healthcare company or market research industry or Healthcare Consultancy
- Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and drivers of the therapeutic area of responsibility
- Significant experience in Market Research, Forecasting, and Analytics / Performance Reporting
- Solid analytical skills
- Strong influencing skills to provide guidance to peers and seniors
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent skills in dealing with excel and power point tools
- Excellent written and spoken English
