Purchasing Sourcing Excellence - Global Project Manager

You will be part of the Global Purchasing Function - Sourcing Excellence Team.

**The Sourcing Excellence Team is responsible for**:

- Developing and implementing the Strategic Sourcing and Sustainability related initiatives applied to our global Supply Chain;
- Setting and leading Risk Management practices end-to-end;
- Identifying and developing processes, procedures and best practices aimed to boost the Global Purchasing Function results and capabilities;
- Driving the desired Digital Transformation of the Global Purchasing Function.

As part of this team, your role will be pivotal to set and execute the strategy for the Sourcing Transformation Initiatives and Risk Management practices aligned with the needs of the business and the stakeholders. Your success will be primarily measured on Strategic Projects definition/management/execution, payment terms & working capital improvements, delivering the Sourcing Excellence Initiatives in line with/beyond the expectations, creation and coordination of a Procurement Efficiency programs, Value Creation and Innovation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Contributing to procurement strategy development;
- Coordinating cross-category and cross-functional initiatives primarily focused on core procurement processes (cost reduction)
- Developing and introducing procurement-specific ways of working and procedures aimed at reaching the Procurement Excellence by higher efficiency and effectiveness;
- Driving the definition and implementation of Procurement efficiency practices as well as Process Improvement initiatives;
- Supplier Management and continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance, ensuring consistency of service level, sustainability and compliance practices;
- Leading projects and working cross functionally along with regional/global Purchasing Teams.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years’ experience in procurement - experience in the Sourcing Excellence and Risk Management fields is a plus;
- Strong strategic vision and entrepreneurial mindset combined with both analytical skills and project management experience;
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management and ability to interact proficiently with all levels of the key functional stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Sustainability, Quality, Compliance,);
- Effective written and oral communication;
- Experience in an international organization;
- Ability to make sound decisions in complex situations as well as to work effectively under pressure;
- Fluency in Italian and English;
- Willingness to travel (if needed).
