Main Responsibilities
The Production Manager will join the Plant in Novi Ligure, the biggest manufacturing site of Campari Group producing Aperitifs, Sparkling Wines and Spirits for the Italian and International business, shipping worldwide.
This Production Manager will report directly to the Plant Director, being responsible for the following activities:
Deliver the defined production plan, respecting company standards of quality, safety, health, environment, costs and customer serviceGuarantee equipment & labour efficiency, defining priorities and addressing actions to improve resource’s utilizationDeliver the planned change overs (format/product) respecting defined standardsDeliver autonomous maintenance programs (cleaning, inspection, lubrications and tightening) in charge to Bottling operatorsAnalyzewastes, addressing improvement projects to reduce gap vs standard utilizations (Bill of materials)Coordinate and take part to problem solving activities to reduce costs, increase customer service and improve in quality (claims, internal non-conformities, non-quality costs) and HSE (injuries, near misses)People management and development, including:
definition of yearly individual objectives, performance reviews and salary reviews proposal, training/mentoring/coaching programs In charge of managing shifts, availabilities, days-off, according to national contract and Ethic code of Campari GroupAccountable of Health, Safety and Environment as “Dirigente preposto per la sicurezza”Accountable to deliver the whole set of information required by the Excise and Customs DepartmentManage the production budget (FTE and consumption materials)Contribute to deliver the yearly 5 years’ capex plan of the plant
RequirementsMSc in Engineering Proven work experience as Production Manager in highly developed multinational companies Proven work experience as Lean/TPM ManagerConsolidated experience in food and beverage industry (including food or glass transformation) is a plus Experience in budgeting and forecastingExperience in planning is a plusSAP knowledge (EWM, MM) Pragmatism, passion, integrity and ability to work in team Sound people management skillsChange agent attitudeFluency in English is a must, knowledge of another language is a plus
