Internship - Material Process Data Technologist

Material process data technologist, in strong collaboration with the other process groups, is responsible for development and validation of data analysis models to predict process behavior and final materials properties. In details, she/he will use data coming from factories manufacturing processes, applyingdata science techniques to identify and design the adequate models to achieve project targets.

He/she, reporting to Process Virtualization and Intelligence Manager in R&D Material dept., will be also the link between R&D - Materials and Composite Processes area and Data Management teams.

Main activities:

- Individuate, query and join database from which fetch meaningful and relevant data for process data analysis
- Analyze and evaluate process data validity and integrity and support company stakeholders for continuous improvements.
- Adopt machine learning algorithms and multivariate approaches to predict trends and results.
- Develop and share best practices for data analysis with documentation and activity reports
- Support the team to define data models to describe and evaluate process data to be collected with new technologies (IIoT)
- Support in deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production (AWS-IIoT)

**Requirements**:
Background:

- Knowledge of data analytics and data science techniques:
regression, classification, visualization, clustering etc (e.g. GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Decision Trees).
- Knowledge of:
SQL/NoSQL, Python/R, Plotly, Qlik, git
- Working experience on data science problems (e.g. personal projects on githubs, kaggle, etc)
