In this position, you will establish and maintain a quality culture in ELSE Local Division in Italy, controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. You will be in charge of developing and maintaining the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area.

**This position reports to**:
Business Manager - Operations

**Your responsibilities**:

- Focusing on preventing issues rather than just control, and driving the utilization of process management to deliver consistent results.
- Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet requirements and that control plans are followed and effective.
- Being responsible for quality assurance of all processes in manufacturing area (ie incoming material, process quality, machine outgoing quality ).
- Ensuring continuous support to Operation teams in order to timely complete production testing activities and FATs and/or to solve potential quality issues so to guarantee smooth production flow and highest customer experience for our clients.
- Making sure that the customer’s voice is represented in the local business, and presenting the management team with customer experience feedback.
- Following up Customer service for warranty/complain cases from first contact with customer to definition of route causes together with other functions, up to figure out and implement resolution action plans. All this using company tools like NCR, CCRP, NPS
- Leading quality Circle and participating in FMEA during development of new products.
- Assisting the Engineering function with product data and evaluations, and validating plans to ensure effective introduction of new products.
- Performing audits and ensuring the use of analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances, and ensuring that appropriate action is taken.
- Working with HR to ensure that the local quality team is staffed, developed and directed.

**Your background**:

- At least 5 years of experience in quality function, working as coordinator/manager.
- Sound knowledge of quality tools ,KPIs and electrical testing procedure and good experience in the LV/MV electromechanical market. Lean 6 sigma Yellow belt or equivalent.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Fluent English language.
