Join us in our Scientific and Medical Affairs team and you will support the execution and deployment of scientific engagement strategies and plans on a market specific basis in order to drive awareness on Tobacco harm Reduction (THR) and smoke free products, to external scientific and medical experts.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Drafting and development of documents by analysis and evaluation of scientific and clinical data and critical reading of peer review journals
- Participate to medical scientific congresses and engage with relevant Key Scientific Opinion Leaders (KSOLs), communicating PMI’s view and scientific studies
- Drafting of pre-contractual documents (due diligence and benchmarking activity), third party contracts and present such documentation to the local legal team. Maintain compliance in all contracts, through a close liaise with the legal department.
- Develop scientific engagement materials and presentations

Who we’re looking for:

- Degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Pharmacy, Biology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology)
- Fluent in English and in Italian
- Ability to work alone, in team and to engage with multi-functional stakeholders
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Able to interpret and present scientific data
- Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-pacing environment aligned with strategic objectives while maintaining focus on compliance
- Literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Travel availability

- Experience in the medical scientific therapeutic areas related to smoking
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Quick learning capabilities entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity

Type of contract: Internship of 6 months length

Work location: Rome
