**The Position**

Novo Nordisk Italy is looking for a Payer Evidence Manager for our OSCD line (other serious chronic diseases) that will join our Pricing and Reimbursement team, reporting to the Head of Pricing and Reimbursement. This is a key role supporting payer, giving scientific and analytical input on observational research strategies, and supporting the department with payer’s interactions along with payer contracting strategies and Innovative Value Strategies (IVS) for NN products.

The role will lead the internal and external communication of the clinical and economic value proposition and of scientific results, to achieve maximal scientific impact and commercial success of NN products throughout their life cycle.

Main responsibilities:

- To lead the development of the critical evidence generation strategy to support articulation of clinical product and economic value.
- To develop strategy along with supporting protocol development, (e.g., retrospective database analyses, payer analytic tools, systematic reviews, network meta-analyses, budget impact models, cost effectiveness models) to support evidence needs.
- To develop scientific and data driven approach to support IVS (i.e., various types of payers contracting strategies)
- To contribute to research planning process and resolution of complex issues proactively and independently, especially if they affect market access decisions and evidence for product.
- To ensure evidence strategy alignment with Therapeutic Area (TA) reimbursement, and regulatory strategies.

**Qualifications**

To be eligible for this role you need to hold a master’s degree (minimum) in a relevant field (e.g., health economics, outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, health policy or related fields). Moreover, you have at least five years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and you have a deep knowledge of health economics, outcomes research and innovative value strategies along with understanding of regulatory requirements.

Other important features:

- Knowledge of the IT healthcare system and its changing needs for health economic and payer analytic information.
- Leadership skills and problem-solving capability as demonstrated by ability to evaluate threats and opportunities for Health Economics strategy and modify as appropriate.
- Ability to implement projects, including engagement with key stakeholders, with high degree of autonomy.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional groups across countries and regions.
- Good Level of English (B2)
