**Head of Warehouse (M/F)**

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Steer the warehouse operations, e.g. receiving, warehousing, site internal logistics and dispatch operations, destruction operations
- Ensure delivery of finished goods in coordination with logistic service providers and global logistics functions
- Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations regarding warehousing and dispatch including those of GDP, GMP, quality & safety
- Ensure budget and quality goals are met and execute tracking & continuous improvement of warehousing processes and KPIs
- Drive Product Supply System in the warehouse, lead the cultural change and increase engagement
- Accountable for the safety of personnel, for monitoring the working environment, machines, equipment, protective gear, work methods etc., and for occupational safety instructions and guidance provided to employees.
- Develop and run, in collaboration with HSE, a continuous improvement plan for the safety in the warehouse
- Review and approve written procedures related to the area of responsibility
- Preparate and lead of inspections in the warehouse
- Continuous monitor and plan of work-force need and warehouse utilization levels
- Compliant inventory control and support of yearly inventory accounting process
- Initiate and support key CAPEX activities for maintenance and upgrade of the warehouse
- Lead & manage teams of operators & coordinators and deal with personnel issues such as the recruitment, training, and discipline of staff and oversee work organized by coordinators

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Degree in Business Administration or in Engineering with focus on Supply Chain/Logistics
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management in a manufacturing company, ideally in pharmaceutical sector
- Strong leader with proven experience in driving cultural transformation and driving bigger change projects
- Practical Knowledge in operational excellence/Sig-Sigma and integrated manufacturing systems will be a plus
- Experience in GMP and management of audits/dealing with auditors will be preferable
- Good IT knowledge (SAP WM/ P2R, MS Office package)
- Planning and coordination skills, high sense of urgency and ownership mindset
- Very good process thinking and analytical skills and excellent communication and cooperation skills with others
- Fluency in English and Italian are mandatory
