Commodity Buyer for E- Parts

At our headquarters, R&D, Production, Sales and all related staff work in synergy, totaling about 500 employees.

**Job Description**:
To support the company's growth, VHIT's **Purchasing Department** is looking for an engineer to fill the role of **Commodity Buyer**.

As part of the team of buyers, you will:

- Manage the commodity of e-parts;
- Support the Purchasing Project Manager & Supplier Quality Manager during the new component development;
- Define the BID list;
- Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation);
- Select suppliers according to the Total Cost Ownership analysis;
You will be also the key point of contact for any commercial, strategic communication and escalation with Supplier, incl. reporting to the Management in dedicating Committees;
You will take responsibility for the commodity or material field, including suppliers strategy and scouting, negotiation, business bundling, award, orders, contracts and supplier database management;
Finally, you will be in charge for Change Management ECR for purchased parts applicable for multiple project and management of the Engineering Change Requests and introduction of Design-to-Cost ideas for new or series projects.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:Electronic Engineering**;**

**Experience and Know How**:3 years of** **experience in the automotive industry or similar experience in large organizations and complex project environments;
**Technical knowledge**:Basic knowledge of powertrain components; Basic understanding of the main automotive industry production processes; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project);
**Personality**: goal-orientation and self-driven with entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication and team working skills and proactivity;
**Language skills**:Fluent English;
