International Logistic Coordinator

**/Responsabilities**

Organize and monitor of domestic and international shipments.

Negotiate transportation rates or services.

Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers. Prepare transport quotations for project tender teams.

Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.

Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities.

Prepare of the shipment documentation according to specific project requirement (delivery notes, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, other required certificates) remaining in constant contact with suppliers and customers.

Train shipping personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.

Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, Customer service logs.

Solve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, custom duty or customer issues. Monitor potential non-compliance situations and act upon them.

Create policies or procedures for logistics transport activities.

Collect accurate data and send all required documentation to the broker in charge of customs declarations.

Identify potential risk across the different operational Customs activities so as to propose mitigation plans.

Ensure that legal requirements are met to receive and maintain the relevant customs authorizations.

Ensure customs efficiency by providing advice based on customs best practice and expertise.

Contribute to the training of the site team to improve customs requirements awareness and improve efficiency.

Follow the financial and accounting aspects related to customs clearance operations.

Monitor and report customs operational performance (productivity and quality) to the country/site management as well as to central Tax and customs dept.

As part of worldwide customs sites referents network, share the return of experience and good practices with the other regions.

**Network & Links**

Support fuctions: warehouse logistic supplier, industrial planner, material planner, sourcing, project industrial mng, couriers, customs supplier, technical dpt, project manager, sales and admin dpt.

**Educational requirements**

Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Master in logistic\supply chain is a plus.

**Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies**

Knowledge of International Trade / Customs Law / Supply Chain.

Autonomy in the production and management of documentation dedicated to intra-extra EEC shipments.

Integrity.

EHS culture.

Ability to work in a matrix environment. Communication skills & Team spirit.

Rigorous and structured. Ability to challenge. Results oriented.

Work under pressure. Adaptability

Fluent in English. International mindset.

Knowledge of SAP and Excel

**Experience**

5 year of experience in logistic department in manufacturing company with international relationships (Plants, supplier, customer)

Previous experience in the management of international transport by land and sea.
