Franklin London are seeking an **experienced, professional Housekeeper/ House Manager** to look after a large, luxury apartment in **Venice. Italy**. This is a permanent position, based in Venice, Italy.

This is a secondary property, so for much of the time the Principal will be absent. Your role is to take care of the property, ensure all necessary maintenance and planned repairs are carried out and that the property is kept to the highest of standards at all time. The Principal will visit this property several times each year for a few weeks at a time. Whilst they are in residence, you will be on hand to care for all their needs and ensure the seamless running of all aspects of the household.

This is a marvellous role for a **Housekeeper with strong House Management experience** and skills. You will enjoy working to very high standards and would like to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. This is a **hands on role, **so you will be willing to carry out duties yourself as well as direct and oversee a small number of other staff.

Meticulous attention to detail is a must, as is proven experience in a similar role, running private households, managing contractors and all aspects of housekeeping.

**Essential requirements**:
Excellent communication skills in English & Italian

Previous House Manager Experience

Some cooking skills or experience

Computer Literate

Valid Passport and right to work in Italy

Previous experience living in Venice would be highly advantageous but not essential.

Salary 50,000EUR gross per annum, plus 2000EUR annual bonus in the first year and 5000EUR annual bonus thereafter.

Hours of work - 40 hours per week 8.30-18.00 with 1.5 hour break

No accommodation provided

Start date March 23
