**Insurance & Risk Management (IRM) **we focus on being trusted advisors by connecting with business colleagues and understanding their needs. We manage and mitigate risk and deliver quality insurance products and services to protect the company’s employees, assets and liabilities and to meet its contractual obligations to customers across the group. As our business keeps growing, we want you in our EMEA region.

**Job Purpose**:
The job purpose is to act as an insurance ambassador with a strong commercial focus within the country, managing robust data exchange, fostering commercial relationships, and overseeing product development at the country level. The primary goal is to ensure greater transparency and implement active risk management strategies to secure the necessary coverage for the operational business units and their customers. This role must align with the overall business objectives and adhere to Group guidelines and policies.

**Your tasks**:

- Foster a collaborative and professional environment within the IRM team, ensuring exceptional service provision to customers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective insurance and self-insurance strategies.
- Monitor insurance premiums, claims processing, and renewals, reporting to management as needed.
- Conduct detailed analyses of customer insurance sales for targeted marketing and training opportunities.
- Create and distribute management reports outlining business partner engagement, key KPIs, and revenue.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to setting the customer insurance strategy.
- Conduct business reviews, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to management.
- Provide consultation to support balance sheet protection and customer insurance growth, implementing sales and marketing initiatives as necessary.
- Improve cross-functional communication within the IRM team to enhance support for all service lines.
- Analyze insurance program loss data, identify trends, and make risk management recommendations to customers and management.
- Participate in external customer meetings to support sales efforts.
- Develop and execute action plans with business units to increase customer insurance revenues, including providing necessary training sessions for product understanding.

**Your profile**:

- Possess a degree in a relevant field, complemented by more than 5 years of experience in the insurance sector, including roles in insurance companies, brokerage firms, or insurance departments of industrial or service companies.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and a proven track record of successful sales strategies.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, DHL managers, and external customers.
- Prior experience in supervising a small team is advantageous, showcasing your ability to lead and guide team members effectively.
- Display a proactive attitude, effective problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends to contribute to the enhancement of our Global IRM customer insurance strategy.
