We are looking for a Group VAT Manager willing to join our Group Tax department in the headquarter of Falck Renewables If you have a strong experience of at least 8/10 years, have a look below

Falck Renewables Spa is seeking for a Group VAT Manager based in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan) willing to work on VAT compliance and planning for both on-going business activities and new initiatives.
This position will work closely with business partners, providing business support, and members of the Group Tax Department, structuring and understanding transactions and potential restructurings. In addition, the position is to ensure VAT technical advice to accounting department.
The Group VAT Manager will have responsibility for the Group's global VAT (and other similar indirect taxes in force in the different jurisdiction in which the Group operates).
- as far as Italian entities is related, directly managing the Indirect tax compliance (together with Italian VAT Group), including ensuring the accurate and timely submission of VAT periodical and annual returns, with the support of external tax consultant or internal resources;
- as far as non-Italian entities is related, overseeing the external tax consultant or local tax manager, for those entities located outside Italy.
The Group VAT Manager will be the liaison with Group tax advisors ensuring value and consistency for all the relevant transactions impacting the business.
Professional qualification and skills
- Recognised professional tax qualification, chartered accountant or relevant degree
- Extensive VAT experience with a global consulting firm, law firm or in an in house tax department, coupled with a wider knowledge of the Italian tax system
- International back ground
- Detail-oriented individual, who takes ownership of projects, is organized, possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and is able to deliver on tight deadlines
- Highly motivated, hard-working,
- Able to analyze and review statutes, regulations, and case law and then extract data and make appropriate recommendations
- Effective interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills
- Willing to work as a key member of the Group Tax Department so as to contribute in the achievement of the established set of goals
- International tax background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable to download information from the main ERP Systems
- English fluent
- At least 8/10 years of experience
