**Job Purpose**

The Regional Planner Consumer is in charge of managing the supply chain demand for consumer products within Bridgestone SOR supply Chain Department.

His/Her primary responsibility is to drive inventory and distribution demand with the scope to achieve the targeted service level in terms of availability for our customers satisfaction and to keep productive inventory at high level.

The role, based in Vimercate (Milano), will have a Regional scope (Italy and East Countries) and will report to the Planning and Customer Collaboration Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**
- Build the appropriate level of inventory into the region and proactively manage it over the time to meet the business needs, customer service level target and productive inventory goals;
- Determine best replenishment process in accordance with inventory optimization proposal and adapt it to market (no stock, reorder point, safety stock);
- Check inventory to Identify, track and share any deviation to business planning and work in synergy with them to avoid Slow Moving/Dead Stock (SMDS);
- Prepare KPI : productive inventory, service levels, SMDS to be shared with sales for action;
- Support new products launch and product discontinuation, carefully monitoring phase in/phase out replenishment to assure product availability and SMDS minimization;
- Strictly collaborating with Product Marketing to assure alignment between local line up and replenishment flows with the aim to optimize inventory levels;
- Work with Customer Service, Sale team and Marketing in order to provide the best support on product availability and Customer satisfaction.

**Distribution Receipt plan**
- Understand supply and demand risks and opportunities to adapt the short demand;
- Work closely with the Demand planning to indicate adjustment needs by item, based on short term demand signals;
- Provide availability outlook, integrating information of line up management and supply plans to support sales team;
- Provide supply overview vs demand identify any availability risk to communicate proactively to the business;
- Monitor customers’ portfolio level, understand the root cause about unavailability and work closely with central team and local team to find countermeasures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering.
- Demand Supply Chain specialist with 3-5 years in similar role.
- Fluent in English, other languages knowledge will be a plus.
- Strong MS Office knowledge, mainly on Excel.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Demonstrated ability to work with business stakeholders, understanding cultural, business and economic differences of the various countries.
- Ability to define and manage priorities between daily routine activities, unplanned situations and projects
- Attention to detail and with excellent analytical skill.
- Effective communicator in both oral and written presentations to focus the point
