- The Engineering Planner is _responsible to build and update in the scheduling tools the projects schedules (internal or customer schedule), according to inputs of the Global Planning Manager and the Engineering Director, in order to manage efficiently the time and workload commitments of the Engineering function for all the Services projects (tender, contract or program)._

**_MAIN RESPONSABILITIES_**

**In tender**:

- Detail the tender schedule based on Reference Library templates, gap analysis, Métiers commitments, and PXO (Project Métiers organization such as PIO / Project Industrial Organization) tender strategy
- Highlight the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule,
- Include in the project schedule the interfaces with the partners and the Customer,
- Deliver on time all schedule deliverables down to the requested level,

**In contract or program execution**:

- Build the project schedule based on internal standard WBS, contractual targets and data provided by the PrPM,
- Contribute with the PrPM to Earned Value Management,
- Perform schedule analysis to identify gaps or schedule issues
- Participate to periodic project schedule sessions
- Prepare P&FM at platform level and partecipate to build up P&FM for Italy Services Unit
- Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
- Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
- Prepare schedule and progress reports for Customer or Lead Unit or Partners.
- Prepare workload (forecast and actual) periodically

**For all**:

- Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates.

**Educational Requirements**:
Engineering degree (mandatory)

**Experience: Experienced**

2-5 years in Engineering, Planning or Project Management roles (mandatory)

Project scheduling (desiderable)

Knowledge of different scheduling tools (desiderable)

**Competencies & Skills**
- Basic overall knowledge of railway products and systems
- Agility to juggle with schedules simulations and various scenarios
- Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker, multi-tasking mode
- Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment.
