- Workplace: Hybrid Position- Location: Truccazzano (Milano), IT, 20060- Contract Type: Full-Time- Working Hours: 40- Employment Type: RegularGrundfos is offering a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our highly successful Industrial Distribution team of 6, in Italy as a Sales Manager for Industrial End Users (IEM) and Industrial Distribution Channel.

This is a national external sales role covering the Italian territory, reporting to the Area Sales Director, Industry - South Europe.

In this role you are accountable for ensuring an effective and efficient collaboration among all functional areas on a local level ensuring that all drive towards the same aligned goals for the business. The Sales Manager primary responsibility is to lead the external IEM and Industrial Distribution local Sales team to deliver sales growth and profitability targets. The Department Performance P/L (PMA) is under your responsibility.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Support, motivate, energize, challenge and develop the team to maximise the sales effort and effectiveness.
- Drive personally the development and grow sales within own area of responsibility.
- Develop market knowledge to successfully drive commercial activities.
- Tandem visit with your sales team in order to coach and motivate them.
- Drive the yearly pricing policy and ensure implementation and adherence in the team.
- Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections within own area.
- Drive yearly negotiations with IEM and Distribution Partners
- Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for competence development, knowledge of processes and tools.
- Effective leadership skills to manage difficult situations within the team, like performance or collaboration issues.
- Cultural fit with Grundfos environmental and social values.
- Ability and interest in developing people, responsible for employee motivation and sense of belonging to Grundfos and the local site.

**What qualifications and experience should you possess?**
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience preferred - proven key account / customer success management experience
- Commercial sales experience
- Stakeholder management
- Experience within the pump industry in Italy, especially End Users and Distribution Channel.
- Strong collaboration skills with all levels in an organization
- Great analytical skills
- Great ability to work both strategically and also hands on
- Proven Leadership skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
