We are looking for a Category Manager Retail Europe South (Italy and Iberia)
Main responsabilities:
Optimize sales and margin from sell-in to sell-out for consumer/commercial tires. Drive initiatives to create pull demand from end-consumers to maintain a sustainable growth strategy.
Manage and continuously develop product categories to support profitability of Goodyear retail models. Define strategy, tactics to continuously improve revenues from rebates to deliver on Retail revenues targets.
Define and develop product, price, place, and promotion for the category/categories and lead the product strategy from sourcing to Pont of Sales installment.
Define and lead implementation of the approach (Iberia/Italy and by market) to source product categroes to maximise gross margin for the franchisees and rebates for the franchisor
Maintain a productive relationship with vendors (corporate and non corporate) that is mutually beneficial, as well as ensure proper communication to set Annual Operating Plan and follow up process to maximise sell-in conditions and franchisees' satisfaction with a primary focus on pull-demand from end-consumers' side (sell-out)
Cooperate and communicate with key vendors to ensure right product selection, availability, trade conditions as well as efficient matching of sell-in plans and sell-out estimation.
Generate rebates for Franchisor in line with Retail Strategy/Annual Operating Plans and continuously improve revenues from rebates. Set yearly rebates target (AOP) and deliver on Retail revenues targets.
Lead both the definition of the product categories needed to fit the retail model (AOP) and the process to implement products programmes from design to POS installation (the right products at the right time for the right price)
Lead sourcing (procurement and/or purchasing, logistics) process for necessary product groups. Realign procurement and or purchasing strategy by market, AOP and followup process to maximise franchisees satisfaction in line with Retail Strategy. Leverage on strategical IT initiatives across Europe to maintain a centralized sourcing platform for franchisees.
Manage inventory and effectively plan and forecast in order to maximize the profitability of the inventory flow. Balancing projected forecasts and actual sales, create trend forecasts and implement sales plans.

**Education**:
University degree in Economics
**Experience**:
4-6 experience within a marketing function with experience of category management, product management, procurement or retail marketing.
Proven experience on business process re-engineering projects with multinational complexity
Knowledge&Skills:
Strong understanding of marketing in the retail industry
Proven track record in working across sales and marketing teams
Strong strategic, mathematical and analytical ability
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Creative flair for innovative marketing programs and promotions
Strong business acumen to drive the revenue and unit targets and to be able to stay focused even when dealing with ambiguity
Fluent in English (mandatory) and Spanish (preferably)
Proven ability to perform in a multi-cultural business environment
Proven leadership ability demonstrated by the achievement of past results and objectives
