Product Development Technical Hardware Textile

We are seeking an intern with a creative mindset, who enjoys the product creation process from design to technical development, with the aim of supporting the Technical Equipment Team for at least 6 months.
You will support the Product Developer Technical Hardware Textile for our brands Salewa, Wild Country and Dynafit in the development of harnesses, via ferrata sets, ropes and slings from the creation of new styles to concept phase and salesman samples. This includes creating designs, color combination, tech sheets and comments during the development process.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Support the creation of design proposals based on Product Manager’s briefing and according to Brand Vision and DNA
- Help to translate the approved design into technical detailed drawings for vendors
- Assist the creation of colorway documentation
- Support in preparing tech sheets and documentation for vendors
- Support the communication to vendors during the development process
- Collaborate with field testing team, and other inputs to ensure the products are exceeding our customers’ needs

**Profile**
- Studies in Textile Technology, Mechanical or Material Engineering
- Ability to use graphic software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of 3D design software
- Very good Italian and English skills
- Teamwork orientation and good communication skills
- Passion for climbing or mountaineering
