**Job Purpose**:
Internal sales specialised inside dedicated BU, working closely with the team (Category Manager, BDM and presales) and with relevant contacts in vendor, deep knowledge of portfolio within Client and peripherals line of business, process and vendor pricing, manages all quotes and orders follow up; pipeline management, regular call out on active customers to maintain relationship and loyalty, proactive call out to identify, enable and activate new potential customers, provide customer assessment,
**Responsibilities**:
- Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge
- Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers. Can have a detailed conversation with customers on solution and identify opportunities to involve the right people in the company
- Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Collaborate with cross department (credit, sales, logistics when needed) to facilitate the closing of a deal
- Engages in active inside selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information and develops short, medium and long term activities to drive appropriate customer engagements
- Manages customer backorder
- Use on line configurator tools and provide training to customers for self use
- Provide product and tools training to Tech Data sales floor and to customers
- Manages project end-to-end or hands over to pre sales for specific technical requirements
- Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers, promotions and vendor campaign
- Ensure Tech Data maintains service levels agreements with customers
- Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as customer engagement
- Sell the benefits of using Tech Data and the Company value proposition
- Develops partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross-selling etc.)
- Plan outbound calls to customers in order to generate new business opportunities
- Identifies project opportunities and engages with BDMs and technical pre-sales if specific product/ vendor knowledge is required
- Drives sales of specific products if specific knowledge is required
- Provides accurate and timely quotations with special focus on SMB customers
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in Tech Data's CRM system and vendor Sales Force system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active follow up and closure of opportunities
- Engage and work closely with vendor Managed/Unmanaged dedicated teams
- Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information
- Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such as daily talk time and outbound calls
- Develop and execute account plans to maintain and grow customer business, this may be in conjunction with a Field Sales Executive or Business Development Manager.
**Knowledge Skills and Experience**
- 2+ years of experience in commercial role (outbound call in IT market)
- Good level of English (spoken and written knowledge)
- High level attention to details
- Excellent telephone manner
- Priority management, planning skills, time managment skills
- Strong attitude to the results
- Understands Sales Process
- Effective Communication Skills
- Good relationship building
- Strong attitude to team work
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP
- A knowledge of product set would be desirable
- IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential
