**Global Demand Planner**:

**GLOBAL DEMAND PLANNER - OUTLET, OFF PRICE INDIRECT CHANNELS**

At Diesel Headquarters located in Breganze (Vicenza, Italy), we are looking for a Global Demand Planner, who will be placed within the Global Business Intelligence, Sales Ops & Planning Department.

**Main activities**:

- ORDERED QUANTITIES PRODUCTION LAUNCHES OPTIMIZATION- Responsible to optimize Production launches when generated by purchase orders (all Regions, all collections) trading off commercial request vs production conditions (e.g. cost, minimum quantity, upcharge ) taking into consideration leftover from Full Price Channels;
- Find the best balance to optimize Net Sales / Stock / Upcharge / Overproduction / Cancellation;
- Check and divert eventual stock availability before production launches;
- Scout potential actions on seasonal items (e.g. launches on top or pre-book) to ensure optimal availability of product in time;
- FORECAST AND BLIND ORDERS PRODUCTION LAUNCHES- Support Business Partners (Merchandising, Production, Sales) with forecast in early booking of raw materials / finished product to secure on time delivery;
- CENTRAL WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT- Support the team in having a full picture of Stock consistency and rotation;
- Proactively propose, monitor and push stock management initiatives to optimize rotation and reduce leftover;
- Suggest mark down and promo initiatives dedicated to Outlet, maximizing stock rotation;
- NOOS PLANNING COORDINATION- Set up process and rules of the game;
- Own the process and coordinate all the involved parties (e.g. Planning, Production, Merchandising);
- Partner with Global Merchandising and Production in NOOS Matrix definition;
- Generate and communicate to Production demand forecasts based on inputs received from Planning and Global Merchandising;
- Ensure optimal level of coverage is maintained;
- BUSINESS ANALYSIS- Analyze regularly product performances and stock productivity, partnering with Global Planning, Merchandising, Planning to react to opportunities quickly;
- Partner with Global Merchandising by suggesting improvements in collection structure (e.g. sell in analysis, sell out analysis production launches efficiencies, collection editing, );
REPORTING- Maintain and distribute business reporting for their area, highlighting results vs. objectives, providing sound rationales and key insights;
- Maintain Brave BI “Super User” status at Global level, responsible to train and distribute all Standard Brave BI knowledge and report management, serving as reference point for Outlet Demand Planning and acting as point of contact for Reporting and Analysis.

**Requirements**:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with direct expertise in demand and stock planning for OUTLET in fashion companies;
- A degree in statistics, engineering or economics would be preferred, and a previous experience in consulting would be considered as a plus;
- Excellent analytical thinking and numeracy skills, strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy is imperative;
- Excellent use of Excel (i.e. pivots, macros etc.) is required, knowledge of Stealth 3000, SAP, Oracle and Sales Planning tools is recommended;
- Good communicator at different levels of the Organization;
- Languages required: English and Italian (other languages beneficial);
- Able to work in team, inspire people and lead by example.
