Accounting and Tax Supervisor

We are looking to hire an **Accounting & Tax Supervisor**, **located in our Italian plant in **Colognola ai Colli (VR)**.

This role is responsible for monitoring accounting and tax activities to ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards for all Sunlight subsidiaries in Italian Region.

**Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes**:

- Reviews regular reports and monthly/yearly closings that created by the accountants
- Monitors the journal entries in general ledger to ensure all business transactions are accurately and promptly recorded
- Oversees daily accounting of local operations daily transactions, including payable/receivable accounts
- Monitors and approves reconciliation of the accounts receivables and payable positions in line with auditors’requests
- Manages the General Ledgers reconciliation, the annual tax declarations, corporate income tax and transfer pricing
- Prepares of the local financial statements
- Fulfills local tax reporting
- Approves and manages the VAT and all other tax and social security payments (salary tax, social security contributions, EOF, Municipality, capital concentration tax, etc.)
- BSc in Accounting or Finance
- MSc in relevant fields and/or professional accounting qualifications is desired
- At least 6+ years of working experience in corporate accounting
- Previous working experience as an Accounting and Tax Supervisor
- Ability to communicate successfully verbally and in writing
- Experience in working both independently and as a team member
- Knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP)
- Solid knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent in both Italian and English (oral and written)
