Bim & Drafting Architect

**Role Description**
We are looking for a BIM & Drafting Architect who will be in charge of 3D modeling of the plant starting from drafting schemes, drawings, plans and layouts of equipment and implementing into the BIM system. He will be in charge of creation, integration and optimization of mechanical 3D CAD models for the design and construction phases of small modular nuclear reactors (SMR) and BIM 3D CAD models for systems and services of the infrastructure of a nuclear power system.

**Main Activities**
- Drafting P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts and piping assembling diagrams, single line and wiring diagrams, interconnecting diagrams, steel structures and piping support, civil drawings.
- Make preliminary or detailed technical design studies using a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) system
- Create and manage the evolution of the 3D model of all the components of a nuclear reactor
- Create and manage the evolution of the 3D model of all the systems (piping, heat exchangers, cable trays, pumps, turbines, buildings etc.) of a nuclear power station
- Have daily contacts with the design engineers to support the design of the components and systems design
- Exchange the 3D models in formats to be shared with the main structural and fluid dynamics simulation software
- Prepare isometrics, prefabrication drawings and prepare bill of materials
- Contribute in preparing technical specifications, and call-for-tender documents

**Desired Qualifications**
- Higher technical diploma in the field of mechanics or electro-mechanics or a related field; BSc or Msc degree in engineering or architecture.
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Experience in the use of CAD tools;
- 3-5 years of drafting P&IDS, PFDs, plant layouts, piping assemblies and similar drawings is an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in the creation, and management of complex 3D CAD models for mechanical assembly
- 3-5 years of experience in the creation, and management of complex 3D CAD models for process systems
- Basic competence in use of Document Management tools.
- Basic awareness of industry or regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.
