**YOUR TEAM**

You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where biomedical, materials and physics engineers, material scientists, physicists, chemists, biotechnologists and biologists collaborate, each with their own expertise, to carry out common research.

The Nanomaterials for Energy and Lifescience Research Line is coordinated by Prof. Guglielmo Lanzani, who has extensive experience in the photophysics of organic molecules and semiconductors.

The research focuses on the realization of bio photonic functional interfaces that enable abiotic/biotic coupling.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

- contribute to the physical interpretation and modeling of the cell opto stimulation process
- supervise graduate students and undergrad students
- manage equipment like laser, spectrometers, microscopes

**WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU SHINE**
- A PhD in Physics, Physics Engineering, Material Science, Material or Chemical Engineering and similar disciplines
- Curiosity for science and passion for research
- Hands on experience in spectroscopy, laser, optical microscopy and photonics
- The ability to properly report, organize and publish research data
- Documented experience in coaching junior scientists
- Good command in spoken and written English
