Our colleagues in the **Italian Sales team** are looking for a new **Category Manager Snacks.**
**Role Purpose**
Deploying and executing the snacks category management strategy at country, channel and customer level. Define and lead country snacks model on all aspects of category management to support Category Captaincy and by customers/channel execution.
**HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Works with Category team to ensure Category Vision and drivers are aligned to business priorities and develop a plan to execute across country.
- Deliver best in class engagement and support on all aspects of the snacks category management strategy to achieve defined targets on range / distribution / assortment / Mix by channel / customer.
- Set and deliver the shelf location, layout, enhancement, space objectives fixture segmentation strategies for each channel / customer in the country, in line with snacks objectives.
- Drives category captaincy objectives for snacks.
- Deliver Sales Fundamentals KPIs for snacks focusing on share of sku, share of shelf, wd and display.
- Ensure all brands have winning POS material in store, including appropriate closure claims at shelf.
- Embed shopper insights for each country/channel, working with CBU and country I&P.
- Develop/adapt conceptual selling toolkit using these insights to support delivery of Sales Fundamentals KPIs.
- Provide shopper insights to each CBU and input into development of CBU Category Strategy toolkits overall and for major innovations.
- Work on innovation to define role in the portfolio, WD landing and build up, shelving
- Portfolio Management and Assortment optimization
**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**
- Experience of major customer engagement/ multi category & multi-channel desired.
- Experience of Category Management processes and tools. IRI skills are required
- Ability to use relevant software eg. Spaceman, IRI Liquid data, Category / Shopper research understanding
- Skills in Win with customers, win with consumers, Think Broadly
- Excellent communication and influencing skills. Fluent in Italian and English is a must.
- University degree required.
