We're hiring for **Regional Corporate Security Leader, Europe**

**Job Purpose**
- Support the Global Security Corporate Security Director with all functions of corporate security operations within the designated region of the company. Work in close partnership with regional Business Unit and R&D leadership to ensure all plans and resources are properly utilized and aligned.
- Provide leadership within the region to help ensure a secure and safe workplace to minimize the impact of security threats, emergencies, crises, or potential crisis on company assets including people, facilities, business, relationships, shareholders, communities and/or reputation.
- Ensure appropriate, consistent implementation and maintenance of Corporate Security work processes, best practices, and most effective technologies; coordinate and align priorities and initiatives; and self-assess / audit the effectiveness of work processes and implementation at the regional sites - including implementation at joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions throughout the region.
- Partner across Corporate Security leadership to drive on-going development of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) organization through increasing skills, competencies, and diverse experiences.

**Responsabilities**

**Strategy and Planning**
- Work with regional Operations, R&D, Commercial and EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety) leadership to establish Corporate Security priorities, resources, and systems.
- Develop a regional strategic plan to ensure the development and implementation of emergency response and security management systems that will manage any event and/or crisis that may arise at a company facility in the region.
- Assist Corporate Security Team to align priorities, set objectives, review progress, develop abilities, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
- Review and update strategy and plans for regional Corporate Security improvements and initiatives.
- Make decisions consistent with the vision and strategy for the company and functions, articulating those decisions to key stakeholders.

**Leadership**
- Lead Corporate Security initiatives to provide emergency response and security expertise at the country and regional levels.
- Represent the region on the Corporate Security Global Leadership Team and Center of Expertise (CoE) Network Teams and collaborate closely with its team members on Security work processes, projects, and initiatives.
- Ensure regional / site EH&S Leadership are aligned with Corporate Security resources and best practices to provide a seamless response in the event of an unplanned event.
- Work with functional and regional business leaders, law enforcement and other local entities, as needed, remaining actively involved in data gathering and analysis to support company facilities.
- Provide expertise and support to regional management and various other external and internal clients, including employees.

**Work Processes / Improvement**
- Ensures expertise on and implementation of Corporate Security work processes and technology including facility security (sites, offices, labs, fields, etc.), personal and asset security, emergency response, and crisis management.
- Ensure that adequate contingency plans are developed, implemented, and tested relative to any credible crisis, emergency or security situation that may affect the company in the region.
- Maintain knowledge on all Corporate Security policies and standards, follow up actions, required documentation and approvals.
- Implement crisis management networks across sites/countries/regions to ensure systems are in place to prepare for and address any crises that may arise.
- Support Executive Protection and Special Event Security as needed.
- Manage budgeting process, cost management and spending prioritization.
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of the company's Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS) related to Corporate Security.
- Crisis management system support, including being responsible to provide functional / business knowledge and expertise to the regional Crisis Management Team and to assist with implementing a crisis management plan when needed.
