A technician position is currently available in the San Raffaele Scientific Institute into the Center for Omics Sciences for 1 year. The Center for Omics Sciences holds a technological hub providing a space for innovative NGS-related technology implementation and development. From third generation sequencing to single-cell omics, the Center offers support to the scientific community through state-of-the-art technologies, protocol testing and development and instrumentation evaluation.

**Main activities**:
NGS library preparation;
Use of Illumina sequencer;
Management of liquid handling platform;
Interaction with COSR collaborators.

**Must have**:
Bachelor's Degree or higher;
Proven ability to work in a research laboratory both autonomously and as part of a team;
Written and spoken English;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**A plus**:
NGS Library preparation;
Next Generation Sequencing (Illumina platform);
Use of Liquid handling platform;
Good knowledge of laboratory integration management system (LIMS).
