As an exclusive partner of other brands in the sports sector we offer our entire know how in communication, sales and image building. We are a team of 900 employees in 10 countries worldwide - a group of adventurers and dreamers, mountaineers, looking for their next peak. We are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist Salewa who has the main responsibility for all Salewa product marketing projects. Product marketing includes product packaging, hang tags, on product messages (f. e. icons or small texts on products), product explanation tools (f. e. user manuals booklets,3D animations, explanation videos, texts etc.) and training material for internal sales and retail colleagues as well as for external wholesale customers. Tasks & responsibilities Be the marketing department’s key contact person to the product managers for apparel, footwear, technical hardware and equipment in order to create product marketing ideas in the early product development stage Organization and supervision of photo and video productions related to product marketing Coordination of test phases with Salewa people and product managers on special products for content production purposes Supervision ofthe product marketing process to create the best possible synergy effects between product and communication Elaboration of clear communication concepts for products or product collections USPs Collaboration with the Marketing Content Manager to connect the product marketing with the brand’s story telling content Selection and negotiation with suppliers (f. e. photo shooting agencies, 3D visualization agencies, graphic agencies) Cooperation with ingredient partners (f. e. Gore Tex, Vibram etc.) to develop common marketing projects Profile University degree in Design, Textile Engineering or Marketing 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, ideal Product Marketing or Product Management (also in other industries) Basic knowledge about marketing, customer journey and mountain sports industry Dynamic, sportive personality with a hands on approach Very good English skills Project Management skills Join us in a moment of unique growth and become part of an inspired team in an international house of brands, focused on the mountain and performance sports industry.
