SummaryReporting to the Global Procurement Director (part of WW Finance) the Head of direct procurement as business partner function is in charge of the coordination and the monitoring of the procurement initiatives and performance for the production area.

He/She analyses, propose and implement cost efficient and innovative procurement initiatives in line with our standard of quality.

Together with the team reporting directly to him/her, he/shes working in close collaboration with the different internal departments (Ready-to-Wear, Shoes and Leather goods, Jewelry and Watches) and in interface with the strategic vendors.Job DescriptionKey AccountabilitiesManager of a team he/she is in charge to ensure the following activitiesBuild the company internal plan and priorities regarding procurement activitiesCollaborate with the different departments and budget owners to identify innovative procurement strategy considering internal requirements and framework, best practices, market trend, supplier capabilities and encourage / support the implementationContribute to the assessment and selection of the most accurate suppliers in compliancewith internal/external regulations and proceduresEncourage and support competitive sourcing activities (from strategy definition to final selection)Ensure accurate contractualization with selected suppliers (appropriate deliverables and risk avoidance) in accordance with legal departmentContribute to monitor supplier performance thanks to stakeholder feedbacks and internal KPIIn charge with the team Procurement team to follow and report the results of the department to the management.Desired Skills and Experience - Key RequirementsDegree in Economy / Finance / Management EngineeringAt least 5-7 years of experience in a similar function in a fashion and production environmentExperience in project leading, tender organization and cost saving projects managementAdvanced analytic skills (controlling, cost analysis, scenario modelling etc.)Strong Excel and Power Point capabilityFluent in Italian and English First class interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to challenge internal and external stakeholders and to take initiativesStrategic thinkingSense of ethic and integrityTeam worker and problem-solving skillResult oriented, proactivity and strong negotiation and diplomacy skillsAvailability to frequent trips in Italy and occasionally abroad.
