The** Ethics and Compliance Analyst** is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the company’s Ethics and Compliance (E&C) program in the region.

This includes the implementation of the Code of Conduct and key E&C controls, training, policy and procedure development, internal investigations and controls monitoring, third party vetting, controls auditing, risk management, and other tasks, in compliance with applicable European, Canadian and other legislations.

You will be part of a Global function, managed from our headquarters in Montreal, Canada, AND of a diverse Central European region. You will be asked to combine the requirements of numerous jurisdictions in your work, and to operate in a multinational business environment. You will be a key instrument in the development of the region’s business culture, and its continued growth within the region and the WSP family.

You will report to the Regional E&C Officer for Central Europe, based in the Netherlands.

**Your new role, what’s involved?**
- At the direction of the CE Regional E&C Officer, support the development and implementation of the regional E&C program.
- In coordination with regional and global E&C teams, update and maintain corporate E&C policies to ensure they are properly communicated and respected.
- Monitor compliance with key controls of the ethics and compliance program. This includes: (i) compiling and reporting on key metrics, (ii) monitoring compliance with E&C procedures and processes, and (iii) addressing intakes requiring E&C feedback, including declarations of conflicts of interest, of gifts & entertainment, of contractors and suppliers, and other inquiries about the E&C program’s internal controls.
- Work with other related functions to facilitate the smooth integration/coordination of E&C controls into existing corporate systems and processes, and work with them to build simplified systems where possible. Provide feedback as needed on opportunities for continuous improvement of regional governance processes, policies, systems, and key E&C controls.
- Working with the CE Regional E&C Officer, conduct project-specific integrity reviews and provide risk-based recommendations/advice to the business on project risk. Support anticorruption risk assessment activities and ongoing risk reviews.
- Working with the CE Regional E&C Officer, develop, design and/or deliver E&C communications and/or trainings.
- At the request of the CE Regional E&C Officer, support with the conduct of internal investigations.
- In coordination with broader E&C team and regional Management and Communications personnel, develop and/or maintain any internal and external regional Ethics and Compliance webpages.
- Other duties, relevant to the position, may be assigned as required.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Either relevant business, risk management or legal qualifications (e.g. LLB, CFE or equivalent) or Ethics & Compliance qualifications (e.g. degree in a field related to business ethics, CCEP or similar designation).
- Professional experience in a relevant field; experience working in the field of ethics and compliance for a company will be a critical asset.
- Understanding and familiarity with data analytics and core corporate systems will be a strong asset.
- Knowledge of relevant regional anti-corruption, anti-fraud and competition legislation.
- Organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle fast-paced multitasking environment with time-sensitive workloads.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to operate collaboratively in multinational environments.
- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, mandatory; additional relevant languages and personal/professional experience in the countries of the region (Italy/Italian and Spain/Spanish primarily) mandatory.
- Verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner.
