**People Lead**
**Milan.**

Italy is one of the company’s top 5 markets in Europe and a market with a huge opportunity for growth. The business is based in Milan. The primary professional communities are Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, Product & Supplier Management. There is also a Distribution Centre.
**The Role, what you will be doing.**
- To develop and deliver the People strategy to support the Italian business strategy.
- Work with the Leadership team on designing the right organisation structure.
- Lead people aspects of potential merger, acquisition & growth activity.
- Ensure that the right talent is available to implement the People Plan - both today and in the future.
- Lead and manage business change programs.
- Work with the local Works Council on creating the right culture, ways of working, policies & procedures.
- Coach senior leaders in handling sensitive or complex leadership and people issues.

The role reports to the VP People EMEA and will be part of both the Italian leadership team and the EMEA Regional People leadership team. The role is a people management role, with a People specialist reporting directly. In addition, the person will be able to utilise the support of the following teams:
The European people excellence team who focus on the learning and development of Sales and Customer Services
The Global Talent and Development team
The Global Reward team

**About you.**
An experienced People Business partner who has a demonstrated track record of developing and delivering people strategies which enhance employee experience and enable business performance.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
Strong understanding of Italian employment laws and regulations, including experience with local works councils
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Italian and English
Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience leading people change programmes, with experience in Mergers and acquisitions a benefit.
Actively supports diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, promoting an inclusive workplace.
