**Who we're looking for**

Tomorrow are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Accounts Payable Assistant to join their small finance team in Milan. This role would be ideal for someone who is just starting in finance and wants to propel their career forward. In this role you will report to the Finance Manager.

**What your day to day will look like**
- Ensure all invoices and expenses are processed in a timely manner
- Accurately code purchase invoices by liaising with managers to ensure correct allocation of costs
- Ensure authorisation and sign off levels are in the line with company policy before payment
- Prepare payment runs
- Reconcile supplier accounts to internal records
- Post credit card statements in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate support is present for all transactions
- Help with the wider improvement of the accounts payable process
- Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as required

**What you need to succeed**
- A degree and analytical skills
- Alternatively, previous experience in an accounts payable role is also ideal
- Knowledge of excel and Microsoft windows. Knowledge of NetSuite would be desirable
- A strong attention to detail
- To have an enthusiastic, motivated and a committed ‘can do’ attitude
- To be able to communicate with colleagues and external people at all levels of seniority
- To be trustworthy, reliable, team player who can work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
