Today, Nexans goes beyond cables to offer customers a complete service that leverages digital technology to maximize the performance and efficiency of their critical assets.- Our Manufacturing Plant located in Pioltello (Milan - Italy) is the European leader in the production of cables dedicated to Automation and other segments like Wind Turbine, Healthcare and Automotive markets.**Information about the department and the position.**
- The Process Engineering is the function responsible for the performances of the entire production processes in the Pioltello plant. The Process Engineering Manager cooperates with Production, Logistics, QHSE and R&D functions in order to improve plant performances and to implement the most effective process for the construction of our products, respecting the client needs, the production costs budgeted, the quality of the products, the respect of Safety&Environment rules and regulations.- The Process Engineering manager is responsible for proposing and defining the industrial investments plan and to monitor the execution of their installation and to proactively drive the improvements in production processes. Additionally he oversees all the industrialization processes, including new prototypes, design change or alternative materials together with the R&D department.- The scope is the entire productive plant of Pioltello that is composed by 5 productive departments, 1 testing department and 1 logistic department with more than 200 machines in total run by almost 200 operators on 3 shifts.- He/she will report directly to the Plant Manager and will lead the Engineering team, will follow up the execution of Engineering routines and will coordinate with the other management team members in order to define and execute the most relevant improvement and transformation projects.**Responsibilities and tasks**
- Standardization and integration of production processes
- Process improvement action plan
- Industrial investments proposal, definition and commissioning
- Innovation activities (protypes production, design change, alternative materials), in collaboration with R&D
- Project Management (special projects like green belt, 4.0. digital transformation)

**We are looking for**
- Master degree in a Technical field
- 7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, cable manufacturing know-how is preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Team Leading
- Continuous Improvements Knowledge and project management
- Technical basic knowledge of Nexans products
- Technical knowledge of generic tools and machine operations
- Capability of cooperating with different stakeholders (including external suppliers) and interfunctional approach
- Excellent Italian and English language skills - both written and verbal
